Singapore International Water Week 2026 Opens with a Global Call for Water Innovation

The highly anticipated Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2026 officially commenced today at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, bringing together leading voices from across the global water industry. Held from 16–18 June 2026, the event serves as a catalyst for collaboration and innovation in water, coastal, and flood management solutions.

Organised by PUB Singapore and MMI Asia with the support of the Singapore Water Association, SIWW continues to strengthen its position as one of the world’s most influential gatherings dedicated to sustainable water development and climate resilience.

Among the key participants is Tigernix, which is showcasing its advanced suite of digital solutions designed to empower utilities with greater operational intelligence, infrastructure visibility, and sustainability performance. Led by CEO Mr. S. Gowrishankar, the Tigernix delegation is welcoming visitors at Booth L1-A18 between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, demonstrating how digital ecosystems can support the next generation of water utility management.

Grand Opening Highlights

The opening day programme featured several high-profile events designed to address critical challenges facing the global water sector. The SIWW Keynotes delivered valuable perspectives from internationally recognised scientists, researchers, and industry leaders focused on building resilient and sustainable water systems. 

Day One also featured the Water Leaders Summit, bringing together decision-makers and policymakers to discuss strategic priorities for water security and climate adaptation. 

Alongside these discussions, delegates participated in WC Technical Sessions and Workshops covering technological innovation, operational excellence, and emerging industry trends. Numerous Partner Events further strengthened networking and collaboration opportunities.

Next Two Days of SIWW 2026

The event agenda remains packed over the coming days, with additional WC Technical Sessions and Workshops continuing to deliver valuable technical insights. Delegates will also have opportunities to participate in technical site visits and specialised Partner Events.

Key highlights include the Coastal and Flood Resilience Leaders Summit, which will examine solutions for addressing rising climate risks, and the Industrial Water Solutions Forum, where industry experts will explore advancements in industrial water sustainability. 

SIWW 2026 will conclude on 18 June with the WC Closing Session, marking the culmination of three days of global collaboration and innovation.
